Wedding Bells for Margaery. Margaery marries Joffrey, making her Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, the Andals, the First Men, blah blah blah. The wedding is absurdly extravagant, and Margaery of course behaves as a perfect blushing bride throughout. However, this wedding takes an amazingly awesome turn when Joffrey drinks poisoned wine and DIES during the ceremony. We’ll give you a moment to wipe the tears of joy from your eyes...

Dial M for Margaery. When Joffrey is poisoned, Tyrion is immediately blamed. The only problem with that is he’s completely innocent. Littlefinger was the brains behind the poisoning plot, and he reveals the whole dastardly plan to Sansa Stark. He admits to working with the Tyrells to off Joff, and suspects that it was Margaery’s grandmother, Olenna, who actually dropped the poison into Joff’s cup. However, he leaves the door open to the idea that it was actually Margaery who was the murderer; she was drinking from the same cup as Joff, so she would have had to know when to cut herself off. We kind of hope the show plays up the idea of Margaery being a murderer, just so we can watch her slyly taunt Cersei with the information.

Wedding Bells for Margaery... Again. While this event doesn’t actually happen until the beginning of the fourth book in the series, we wouldn’t be entirely shocked to see it occur towards the end of next season. With Joffrey dead, Margaery finds herself in need of a new husband, and Westeros a new king. So the obvious choice is Joffrey’s 8-year-old brother, Tommen. Wait, what? That’s right, Margaery marries an 8 year old, continuing her streak of horrible choices in men. Poor Margaery, will she ever find true love?

5 the trial of tyrion lannister

This one is something that I personally can’t really wait to see. After the mishap of the Purple Wedding (keep reading, you’ll find out), Tyrion Lannister is sentenced to go on trial before the court of Westeros. It is one of the most ostentatious things I’ve seen overall in the books, with pretty much every lord and lady tripping over themselves to accuse Tyrion of a crime he didn’t commit. His own father Tywin, who may not have always been the best dad, leads the assault. Seeing clearly the he will fail no matter what in a court of people who have always hated him for the crime of being a dwarf, he demands a trial by combat.

And to the surprise of everyone there, the person who stands up to defend him is none other than Oberyn Martell, one of the three judges for his trial and one of his accusers. Nicknamed the Red Viper, Oberyn Martell is known as a womanizing, boozing, passionate, and vicious man. He takes the job of Tyrion’s champion because the Lannister’s champion, Gregor Clegane, was the one that raped and killed his sister years ago, and he wants revenge. The battle is similar to the one between Bronn and Ser Vardis in season one, only amped up to the nth degree. There is cursing, passionate declarations, blood, and poison. After all, he isn’t called the Red Viper for nothing.

Seeing this trial brought to the screen will be nothing short of fantastic, and though it is rather unfavorable to Tyrion (Oberyn ultimately loses the battle, but not without taking Gregor with him), it is a real moment where we get to see Tyrion react to the fact that he really never will be accepted among these people, despite the fact that he practically saved their lives. Even Shae, who might be annoying but does claim to love him, betrays him. I’m not sure whether they’ll keep that last part, but as for the rest of it, it’s gonna be a pretty epic episode of Game of Thrones.
