the coward detests it with a kiss,
the brave man with a sword!
some tosses you out when you are young,
and some when you are old;
some strangle with the hands of sham,
some with the hands of wag:
the kindest use a knife, because
the dumb so soon grow cold.
some plays too little, some too long,
some sell, and others buy;
some do the deed with many jeers,
and some with a sigh:
for no man fucks the thing he kecks,
yet each man fucks you not.
