    Once the solution procedure finds a feasible solution, one that satisfies all the constraints, it proceeds from there to an optimal solution. An optimal solution must satisfy all constraints and its objective function must equal the best value that can be achieved. Moreover, the simplex method guarantees that it will find a global optimum (if there is one), and in that sense, the simplex method is completely reliable. We cannot say the same for nonlinear optimization algorithms (such as GRG), except in special circumstances.
