    Mütarekede Fenerbahçe’nin işgalcilerle yaptığı maçlar

    Fenerbahçelilerin özellikle milli mücadele dönemlerinde gösterdikleri özveriyi yazmaya satırlarımız yetmez. Fenerbahçe mütareke döneminde çeşitli işgal gücü takımlarıyla maçlar yapmışlardı. 1. Dünya Savaşı’nın sonunda 8 Aralık 1918’de ingilizlerle yaptığı maçı 3-2 kaybetmişti. Düşmanların ülkemizi işgal etmesiyle Türk halkının morali oldukça bozulmuş, direnci ise oldukça azalmıştı. işte böyle bir ortamda Fenerbahçe Kulübü işgalci takımlara karşı beş yıl boyunca yani Cumhuriyet’in ilanına kadar tam 50 maç yapmıştı. Bunların 41’ini kazanmış, yalnıza 5’ini kaybetmişti, dört maç ise berabere bitmişti. Düşman filelerine 193 gol atıp sadece 47 gol yiyen Fenerbahçe’nin en büyük başarısı 1923 Haziran ayında büyük iddialar ile hazırlanan ingiliz karmasını Taksim Stadyumu’nda 2-1 yenerek General Harrington Kupası’nı kazanmasıydı (TÜRKSOLU gazetesinin geçmiş sayısında “Milli Mücadelede Fenerbahçe” isimli makalemde bu konu detaylı olarak anlattım). Fenerbahçe’nin işgal döneminde aldığı bu galibiyet halkta büyük bir sevinç yaratmıştı. Aynı tarihlerde Lozan’da ‘Türk’ün ateşle imtihanı’ diplomatik alanda tüm hızıyla sürüyordu. Fenerbahçe’nin galibiyet haberi diplomatlarımızı da çok sevindirmiş, onurlandırmış ve öyle bir hava ile de Lozan’daki çalışmalarını sürdürmüşlerdi...

    @4 fener rum değil ermeni kökenlidir.. galatasarayın fransız kökenli bir lise çıkışlı olduğu doğru ama yerlidir kurucu ali sami yen ve arkdaşları türktür. beşiktaş %100 yerlidir bir zaman milli takımı da temsil etmiştir.
