    Showers put you in a meditative state where you listen to your subconscious a bit more. The thoughts stressing you out come to the foreground and your conscious brain finds ways to process it all. For a more refreshing shower, don't humor the subconscious noise... just passively observe the thoughts and let them all go.

    or remembering insults received as a child and coming up with the perfect comebacks you coulda/shoulda/woulda said, and thinking "oh hell yeah, that would have been perfect... fuck."

    And then that moment of shame when you snap out of it and realize you were having a fictional argument in the shower for 20 minutes.
