Dear Sir,

On 24th of August, one day prior to UEFA Champions League group stage draw, Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has debared Fenerbahçe SK under the pressure of UEFA from joining to Champions League.

The decision of TFF is contradicted to universal law principles and this decision is also taken before the judgment at law and all the issues against Fenerbahçe are just claim stage.

Until now, we have believed that UEFA is a trusty and fair association. In case this contradicted decision is taken under the pressure of UEFA, UEFA as responsible for management of European Football is also contradicted in its self and ignores the previous decisions taken for AC Milan and FC Porto cases.

On the other hand, it is worldwide known that UEFA emphasized the principle of “zero tolerance”. Fenerbahçe is excluded from Champions League since its name is involved in match-fixing investigation. However, in the same investigation the president of Trabzonspor, Sadri Şener is proclaimed by court to travel abroad and therefore could not participate to the Champions League pre-elimination away game with Benfica. What will be the decision for Trabzonspor? How come the participation of Trabzonspor to Champions League instead of Fenerbahçe get along with the “zero tolerance” principle of UEFA?

Again in the same investigation, the vice-president and Technical Director of Beşiktaş JK is still in jail. How come Beşiktaş will participate to UEFA European League in accordance with the “zero tolerance” principle of UEFA?

Since you threaten TFF president Mehmet Ali Aydınlar, “If Fenerbahçe would participate to Champions League, Turkey will be banned for 8 years in case the guilt of these football clubs are approved by Turkish Court”, should we understand from your threat that UEFA is an untrustworthy and frivolous association which does not apply its “zero tolerance” principle equally and shows arbitrary behaviors?

Please be aware that the unlawful decision of TFF taken under your pressure will be definitely cancelled by Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) and this situation will also damage the reputation of UEFA.

This unlawful decision which will cause Fenerbahçe huge financial and unrecoverable moral damages must be cancelled!

I strongly believe that justice will be served.
