    tehran (fna)- the participants at arabs-turkey cooperation conference underlined the right of all countries to use nuclear energy within the framework of npt and the supervision of iaea.

    the second arabs-turkey cooperation gathering in damascus on tuesday also underlined necessity of reaching a diplomatic solution to iran-west dispute on iran's nuclear program.

    in the final statement of the gathering, rights of the countries to use peaceful nuclear energy in the framework of non-proliferation treaty ( npt) under supervision of the international atomic energy agency( iaea) was underlined.

    the statement expressed concern over expansion of mass destruction weapons and supported creation of a region free of nuclear weapons.

    the participants declared their common viewpoints on establishment of security, stability and prosperity in the middle east region and a just, comprehensive and permanent solution to arab-israeli disputes.

    the statement underlined necessity of using dialogue, creating an open atmosphere and constructive participation as a way to accomplish peace, security and stability in the region, stopping construction of jews settlements, stopping illegal work in qods and breaking gaza blockade.

    the participants underlined necessity of prompt accomplishment of palestine national reconciliation, and supported establishment of lebanon national unity government.

    support for iraqi government efforts to fulfill security and stability and support for their unity, independence and maintaining its arabic, islamic identity were among other issues in the final statement.

    syrian foreign minister walid al-muallem, turkey's foreign minister ahmet davutoglu, arab league secretary general amr mussa, qatar labour minister sultan al-dowsari, mohsen ali al-hakim from iraq foreign ministry, libyan ambassador to damascus abdolsalam dhou , an official from sudan foreign ministry and somalian ambassador to syria muhafazid mussa tarri were among participants in the gathering.

    arabs-turkey cooperation gathering was founded in the year 2007 upon agreement between arab league and turkey.

    the first gathering was held in istanbul in october 2008 and foreign ministers of saudi arabia, djibouti, syria and algeria attended the meeting.
