    you're going to the mall. you find the index of all stores, and locate gnc. you walk to gnc. you're not sure of what is inside, but you can enter free of charge and look around and see everything there is to see. this is the surface web. you notice a door in the back of gnc, it is deadbolted with the label "angie verona pron", you can't get in here, no one can tell you what is in there, no one is willing to say they knew the door existed, this would be a deeper portion of the web. is there a door beyond that door? who knows. how deep does the rabbit hole go?
