there is not a single country out there where women has same acsess to the economic resources and political power that men do. and levels of violence that we see across the globe have been described as the most graved and politic human rights violation of our age, quite clearly we are being told day and day out that we are living in a post-feminist age that does not describe any society on earth. we are still fighting old battles so old battles to tackle violence against women, rape, domestic violence. we are still trying to translate legal pledges such as right to equal pay which is not felt in this country like in other countries. but we also face new challanges, new threads to this age which leave us as femisnists in uncharted teritory and i think there is non so great and so harmful as the global sex industry. so we are seeing a level of commercial sexual exploitation taking place in honest scale unparalelled in human history.
