a jacobin is someone who supports a centralized republic with power made at the federal level in contemporary usage. spesifically it was used to describe members of jabobin club. the club was a revolutionary, for left-political movement that was the most famous political club of the French Revolution. They provided price fixing to prevent inflation. Slavery was eliminated in France. they established a metric system. all the symbols of state such as knee abolished. people were adressed as citizen and streets were renamed. the calendar was reformed by dividing each month into 3 weeks and weeks to 10 days. they declared that religion was a private matter rather than being social or political all the privileges coming from religious were eliminated.
