    bill cross, a scientist, is an alcoholic in his ordinary life. one day because of alcohol he sees himself in planet thaar and communicates with thaarns in his dream. he tells about his projects to thaarns and they like them a lot. after bill wakes up, he barely remember what he saw in his dream. The thaarns warn bill that the sun will blow up and the plantes will melt down and tell him to do something to prevent these. bill thinks that something bad can happen and does nothing that thaarns told. takes a bottle of scothch and he feels better and comfortable. after a couple of days he gethers himself together by brenda's voice.
